Insight, the newsletter of InnoLas Laser![]() InnoLas Laser takes over picosecond product line from Advanced Optical Technology Ltd
Aerial mapping – one of many applications for the AOT lasers InnoLas Laser GmbH and Advanced Optical Technology Ltd have agreed terms for the German laser company to acquire the complete ACETM short-pulse product line of the English specialist company. From January 2012 manufacturing, sales and service will be relocated to the InnoLas Laser headquarters in Krailling, Germany. The AOT products are compact and unique efficient high repetition-rate short-pulse solid state lasers (nano- and picosecond) operating with high energy in the UV, visible and near infra-red. Proprietary high speed switching technology allows the E-O Q-switched laser products to deliver kHz pulses below 1ns duration that are synchronisable to external events with sub-nanosecond accuracy. All software functions on a tablet PC InnoLas SpitLight Lasers now come with a new software, which offers numerous advantages. For example all laser functions as well as trouble-shooting can be done on a hand-held-tablet on a simplified and intiutive user-interface. Unlike older versions this software is a native application, therefore it runs reliably without intermediate software on Linux, Windows or MAC. Different interfaces are available (TCPIP, RS232, USB) and it can also be used via a remote client with open protocol. LABView integration and various adjustments to customers‘ requirements are optional. A specific version for PIV lasers is also available.
